Ghana Tourism Federation

The Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF) unites private sector tourism associations to advocate for industry interests, promote Ghana as a top tourist destination, and enhance stakeholder capabilities. Established in 1995, GHATOF focuses on sustainable tourism, public-private partnerships, and policy advocacy to ensure the sector's growth and competitiveness.

The Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF) is the umbrella body for private sector tourism and hospitality trade associations in Ghana, championing collaboration, standards, and sustainable growth across the industry. Founded in 1995, GHATOF brings together member associations spanning hotels and lodgings, restaurants, car rentals, airlines, tour operators, attractions, and more—creating a unified voice that strengthens policy dialogue and showcases Ghana’s diverse tourism offering to the world.

Through strategic partnerships, capacity building, and active advocacy, GHATOF supports its members to deliver quality experiences for travellers while promoting Ghana as a welcoming, culturally rich, and responsible destination. As a federation embedded in the ecosystem, GHATOF works closely with public institutions and private stakeholders to enhance competitiveness, unlock investment, and develop skills that benefit communities and businesses nationwide.
